I've been teaching ICT at Great Cornard Upper School for nearly 6 years. I have just spent the last 8 studying for an Open University degree in my own time. I am now doing GTP training to get the piece of paper that says I am a "real" teacher!

Inspired by Alex! - My Tutor Group Ning

Having been inspired by Alex and his non-PowerPoint presentation on Thursday last! I decided that I would set up a NING for my tutor group. I also had an ulterior motive - I had to deliver an Assembly today and I thought that it would be a great thing to demonstrate! A collaborative working tool! NO death by PowerPoint!!


My tutees have been rushing to join it and collaborate to make an Assembly on things they did on a recent Detimetabled Day. This included photos of a day trip to Venic

After Ian's VLE presentation today I had a look at his discussion and I went from your post to your college VLE. Can I just 'enroll' to have a look at your media / ICT courses? I tried as a guest but no joy. We are not in the game yet but are looking around. I'd like to see someone's use of moodle.
